Sol Cera Addresses Future of CERA LLP with The Recorder

In an article regarding CERA LLP appearing in the February 20, 2015 edition of The Recorder, “Firm turns Gold into Cera,” Managing Partner Solomon Cera addresses the firm's decision to change its name from Gold Bennett Cera & Sidener LLP to CERA LLP. While acknowledging the successful history of the firm under its former name, Mr. Cera observed, “It's definitely a well-known name, but we're not resting on our laurels.” “Ultimately, I think you're judged on the basis of the work you're doing today.”

In addition, Mr. Cera discusses the name change to something much shorter. “The shortness of the name (CERA LLP) reflects the fact that it's a small firm, but we like that,” he said. “There's room for other names to be added.”
